Dukhan English School Community Play Scheme!
The Community Play Scheme is a community group developed to support the transition between home and school. These sessions are offered to children as they turn 3 years of age, allowing them to familiarise themselves with school life. The session is led by a teacher and teaching assistants for 2 hours, 3 afternoons a week.
The teachers plan experiences and use the children’s own interests to help them feel valued and comfortable. The children have time to investigate, explore and create using their senses whilst developing their self-confidence and independence.
Take a look at the Community Play Scheme gallery, highlighting some of the activities offered during these sessions.
Little Habibis – COMING SOON!
We are currently organising an exciting addition to our community provision which will offer the opportunity for 0-2 year olds to engage in a session that will support developmental play. During this session we will offer age appropriate play ideas for parents to use at home and begin to build links with our future learners.
More details and information will be disseminated shortly.
